The Top-10 Imaginary Sports
Article by: Witney Seibold
The sport of American football is baffling to me. I was never a very athletic kid (despite my participation in an organized judo team), and I rarely participated in any sort of playful backyard sport that had any rules. Sure, I played handball reasonably well, and I recall the year my peers and I spent playing Killer Rugby, which a classmate had invented. But if you were to ask me how to play American football, or the minute details of baseball, well, don’t be offended if my eye glaze over.
I did, however, watch a lot of TV and see a lot of movies, and, as a consequence, have a vast mental store of the best imaginary sports ever invented for fictional settings. The good people at Geekscape allowed me to, once again, flex my creative muscles (further neglecting my own website, blush) and compile the following list of the best imaginary sports.

Please leave some comments; I would love some input as to which sports I neglected to include. You can write them on this very website you are viewing now, or on the Geekscape website. Either way, I’d love to hear from you.
