Haha don't worry about it, I'm in my 20s and I know all about Pokemon, Digimon, and the like. I know plenty of adults that are into Anime, actually.

Pat Skipper actually played as a government marine-highly skilled-sniper called; Carducci in HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE. Not as Duc de L'Isle (who was actually played by actor; Mickey Cottrell.

True this movie takes the bland animations of modern day films and turns them into something truly magnificent. This film is very good ,but I didn't know it was French until I saw the Eiffel Tower in the background during the beginning of the movie where it shows the house they live in go through phases until it reaches the modern day time.

I totally disagree with you about this film being 'quickly paced.' I felt like it was about 8 hours long.

I was really very disappointed with the writing and direction. How do you get THAT cast and THAT story and make a bad movie? It was sad. The Coen brothers should have done this one.

The talent MJ had is unbelieveable. Controversies or no controversies, MJ alsways knew how to be in news, even after death.

Great review, Witney. I wrote one on my blog as well, naturally. I think a lot of the audience made assumptions that Michael was a primma donna, I definitely didn't take it that way at all, especially having had the pleasure of seeing him work and be a human being four times the last 8 years of his life. He was a perfectionist and that's what really came across the majority of the time, and I believe he did his best to be respectful of his co-workers and certainly his fans. That said, the 'fist in the ear' was pretty hilarious. I had the same concerns about the film you did, and I was happy that it wasn't exploitative. I don't think MJ would have at all wanted it released, solely because he wanted to be so in control of the finished product and certainly wasn't giving his all for rehearsals, but it's the best we've got and I'm proud they decided to release it as he always wanted to be portrayed as himself, and I believe this documentary gets closer to that than most footage of him does, at least as an artist. It was great to be in a theater with people waving hands and holding up lighters, I probably won't see that again anytime soon! Thanks for another great review.
